Nína Óskarsdóttir (b. 1986)

Visual Artist born in Reykjavík, Iceland and now based in Newark-on-Trent, England. I am currently doing a two year post graduate fellowship in stone lithography at Leicester Print Workshop, England. In connection to this fellowship I have started a blog here on the site where you can check out my progress.

I work in mixed media including print, videos, installations, performances and textiles. Much of my work is collaborative and has a political or social aspect. The work is often based on personal experiences that are entwined with social and cultural affairs. I am very interested in working in public and experimental spaces.
