I have made a tiny print! It was my submission for Small Print International, which is an exhibition held by Leicester Print Workshop, where the printed area can be no bigger than 100 cm2. That is really small!
I was a bit puzzled how to get this done as I am really bad at drawing inside the lines and I always seem to extend my pictures outside of the borders. To not mess this up I gummed up all the edges of my stone so I wouldn’t accidentally make the print to big.
But of course I couldn’t stay completely inside the lines but that didn’t really matter.
It turned out sort of like a comic, I titled it the Art Critique.
It was hand tinted with water colours and is actually really small, smaller than it seems in the photos. I have submitted the print and now I wait anxiously to see if it gets accepted!
